Do you file off the little pips on the w/bone for the super short w/base mod?

I dremelled the front edge of the wishbone down by 1/16".

I did, but I only used it at Tivvy, I prefered regular 'medium' wheel base everywhere else.

That's interesting to know, i've not played around with it since Lee set it up first for me - he said he just runs s/short everywhere now....

I might play around with it over the winter to see the difference - i tried moving the hubs back to give it a longer wheelbase on Saturday but it made the car feel horrible...... but that was on worn Grass so may be different at Lee's!

when I want drive I put it short/short, when it starts to wheelie a lot and get a bit of power on understeer I go to regular/medium.

I thought you shaved the pips of the hinge pin brace.

If you shave the pips off the mounting bracket, it means that when/if you break a rear wishbone is is a quicker and easier change

can't remember exactly, I think a 5grm in each of the rear triangles on the chassis and a 15grm in front of the gearbox/under the U plate.

Ive got the same, it's a bit of a squeeze depending on the size of lead you have.
