OK the first batch of bodyshells are here to make sure they fit well.
Here is one fitted to my DB1 also showing the layout under the shell.
Please excuse the wiring, so many receivers in and out through testing, it it's become near impossible to keep on top off! LOL

Many must be thinking this is just a 2wd bolted to a 4wd and it certainly may look like that, but I can assure you some extraordinary ideas have been incorporated in to this buggy that makes it as fast as it is.

Soon will be available to all......meanwhile the testing will continue on a daily basis ....catch up soon

Hi yah all...
While the testing and final little improvement continue I thought I would let you know that we are hoping to make the car available in 4 different ways.
Unfortunately the prices have yet to be confirmed and like mentioned before, the priority is to make sure this car can perform at the highest level first then figure out the lowest cost to everyone.

1= RudeDB001 = If you just want the conversion parts then this is the one for you.
In this you will get a bodyshell, and everything else you need to make a DB1 like the factory team are currently using.
You will need to have Kyosho parts in your spares and you will need to buy the odd thing here and there to complete the conversion. Any specialist parts will be included in this conversion. Even the balancing weights for fine tuning to different tracks and conditions

2= RudeDB002 = This is a conversion if you have a Kyosho 2wd
Again it will include everything from box 1 plus everything you need if you only have a 2wd car.

3= RudeDB003 = This is a conversion if you have a Kyosho 4wd
Again as stated in the other kits, everything needed to convert a 4wd to the DB1 2wd car.

4= RudeDB004 = This is a full kit.
So you have no Kyosho parts and you want to be the proud owner of the fastest 2wd on the planet.
This is the kit for you!

Every kit and that means every kit will come with a unique code and that code is worth a lot of money if used wisely…..
Enough of that for now though, we will reveal that news when the time comes!

Some would have noticed that my thumb has a plaster on it because of so much running with this car.
I am in agony with my hand now and I may have to stop running for a few days.
Thank you to Ellis Stafford for sorting my transmitter out though as I really couldn’t carry on. (not funny really)
The reliability in our eyes is crucial and now the car has completed over 15 hours of run time without a rebuild of a gearbox.
In real terms assuming you do 15 mins on a Lipo in practice, then 4 runs at 6.00 minutes and then your final.
That equates to some 45 minutes per meeting.
Lets assume you do 1 hour run time per meeting!
So far the car has been tested for 15 meetings plus and still doesn’t need a rebuild.
That is a near 4 month period running every Sunday or nearly a season if you wish to look at it in that way.
Good eh!

Back to more running of the car I suppose J

Default 1st Major Event

1st Major Event

Just in case some people have not seen this.
The first BRCA UK Championship and National series was held at the popular Stotfold club. A full Astroturf track with many jumps and humps allowing the club to run track layouts that some have never been raced on and they did a grand job this weekend.

The 2012 season started with every team being represented by their respective best drivers in attendance.

Statistically consisting of 120 drivers which 115 were F1 and F2 drivers this UK series is arguably the strongest ever.

This was the meeting the DB1 was making its debut at a major event!

The conversion is some 2-3 weeks old and some thought it would be too early for the car to perform at such a high level so so soon!

1st National - Result
Kevin Lee qualified 3rd driving his Kyosho DB1 and finished 2nd in all 3 legs of the main A final to put himself and the car on the podium.
Congrats to Kev

Default Another great showing for the DB1

The Kyosho DB1 2wd Conversion keeps on winning.

At the Mid-South Regional BRCA event held at the club of TORCH near Southampton, the three DB1 cars had a great showing qualifying 1st, 2nd and 4th out of some 90 competitors.
Finishing with a TQ and win for Kevin Lee and a 3rd for Tony Evdoka

All the results are available for you to study but what is more impressive is the performance of the cars in wet conditions. (look at round 3)
First 2 rounds were totally dry and then 2 rounds very wet along with the finals……

The last few cars from the first batch are just about available.....

The only way to secure a car is to go through the RudeBits website and place a deposit.

Please, please don't say to me that you asked me, enquired, emailed, rang me, PMed me, promised, loved me and so on as this cannot and will not work....you are all friends but you have to go through the RudeBits website......

Thank you for your understandings
