Default Mounting Sanwa SRG-HR in Schumacher Atom CC

I have purchased a SRG-HR servo for my Atom CC and I am not happy with the way its mounting.

As its such a small servo when I mount it directly to the chassis, the servo saver sticks out the bottom of the car and due to the special screws I am not able to shim it as they are not long enought.

Alternatively, I have tried mounting it on standard servo mounts and the placement of the servo saver is too high in the car. It makes the steering links of the car very much sit at an angle. Hope this makes sense, as my understanding is ideally the links should flat

Any advice on mounting this servo in this car?

Thanks for the assistance

Most of the people I know Dremel the servo saver until it is the same height as the bottom of the chassis.
