They look like standard Losi springs and shocks to me - green fronts and pink rears. All on an original X - 6

I was just about to comment: That's an original X - 6 with a cool CF battery strap. Where did you get the strap?

Default X5 kicks

yea Chazz the X5 is awsome at the moment.... and have had over 11 months with the same belt just changed it the other day as i was worred about the teeth form but the teeth looked fine!!!!
im running the blue xxx-s belts as ive found they work a hell of a lot better than the yellow ones!!!!

i hav two Questions......

1. can u still get the CNC diff pulleys for the X5? i see they r on the X Factory site.

2. will the X7 be realeased with a undertray?????....i hope so as im not a fan of running the chassie open!!!!

cheers
Mic

Doc, we took the diff pulleys off the store a while ago -- we have no more pulleys of any type, and the X - 7 pulleys will be different. Please refresh your store page to be sure it's correct. I just checked and they are not there.

We haven't thought about an undertray for the X - 7. It will be a flat piece of CF with the body fitting tightly around the chassis. It will be easy for you to make an undertray by simply cutting out a piece of Lexan and gluing it on.

Really Chazz??? The car HAS to have a proper undertray for it to cover the wet weather conditions we have over here........

Scandinavia too! Rain, rain, rain... Do the math!

As to X-5 parts I would recommend you to supply your customers with the parts you can still manufacture. Given that there is a demand of course. (We know the chassis mould is broken though)

Otherwise I think some people would be a bit sceptical as to buying a new X-car if they risk not getting parts for it some years from now...

SHY could not agree more about the rain and the need for the undertray, I will convey these thoughts closely with both Paul and Chazz as the cars completion and release draws ever closer.

As for the X5, most parts are still available, the only two you cannot get any longer are the chassis and the machined pulleys (they have to made in large batches and it would not be viable to make any more now that they have run out). However, the easy alternative for these is the rear diff pulley from the XX4 (used in both font and rear on the X5) along with the rear belt pulley also from the XX4 on the layshaft, these are what the UK team here ran for the entire last season that we ran the X5 and they worked very well indeed.
