RASCAR - Bucks 400 @ Wycombe Radio Car Club: 24th February
Wycombe Radio Car Club would like to announce the inaugural RASCAR open event.
This will be held on the 24/02/13. This will be run on the long Wycombe Oval "airfield" and will have 3 different classes on the day.. Entry forms are on the www.wycomberacing.co.uk website. Also attached here. http://rcracechat.com/vb/attachment....4&d=1354224941 RASCAR: 21.5T brushless Micro Lipo packs Mardave chassis RASCAR bodyshell RASCAR open: G2/4-cell or 13.5T/1S Mardave chassis RASCAR bodyshell Hot Rods: BRCA 2013 rules Racing format for the RASCAR classes is different to normal...heats are short shoot-outs over a smal amount of laps. Then the finals are longer with pit-stops. Both the RASCAR and RASCAR Open categories will run to these rules. Hot Rods will follow conventional BRCA rules.

About a month left to go - send in the entries to chairman@wycomberacing.co.uk.
Thought I'd try a bit harder to sell the RASCAR idea... We are running on our long oval which is going to be very fast. The heats are short lap based races 20-30 laps with the grid chosen at random. Pulling balls from a bag. This will qualify for the final race which will be much longer 100+ laps and you'll need to do a pitstop to change cells. A pace car will be present to slow the field up if a car ends up stranded. So the Nascar feel will be spot on! We are running the pure RASCAR class and also an open RASCAR class on the day. Open RASCAR is not the vision of RASCAR long term but allows drivers to give it a whirl with their Hot Rod or Banger with a NASCAR shell. If you don't fancy it..bring your Hot Rod. We will be running a conventional Hot Rod meeting on the same day.

Hi all,
The RASCAR meeting is now postponed. With interest so low we decided not to run the meeting... But in its place - a WRCC club event racing on the long oval. Saloon Stox and Hot Rods so come along anyway! Same time - same place.. Cheers, Mark.
