Default Old cars

Just been sorting through some rubbish in the house as we make way for the twins, and found some old photos (the old type, not digital) of my old buggies.

The old dogfighter...wish I still had it. Infact, i'm bidding on one now, it brought back such a good memory.

My beloved manta ray. Was my first RC racer, had it for about 3 years and it ended up being almost factory team spec when I'd done with it.

..and the cougar, was as keen on this one but it was fun and realy strong.

Was the Dogfighter the 'Works 95, or 98' model. I had a Works '95 and it was defo the best RC car I ever had.

Yeah, I had it with the original shell and the Egress shell, as well as the top force one pictured.

Id get another one tomorrow but would never get it to the spec I had that one, so it wouldn't be the same.

I think the dog was the works 95 one. I bought in not long after Masami won the worlds at basildon with one in '93. The dogfighter was awesome though and that was just a standard car so can I replicate the old memory of that by buying one.

Wicked ! i love old rc cars! the cougar reminds me of summer days at school, my mates all had Boss Cat's and cougar 2000's.
I was the odd one out with a Tamiya williams FW14 F1, funny enough iv'e still got it!
I've got a few vintage cars in my collection but not much in the way of buggys other than my brand new, unused Avante 2001.......

Yeah, i have to say i never even new these clubs existed until last year, never heard of them! i would have started racing years ago if id known. Its loads of fun and EVERYONE seems mega fast compared to me ! lol.
Now the racing bug has firmly set in, i would race every day if there were enough clubs to go to!

Hi, being in canada, you may have to get in touch with Traplet publications and see where in the world its distributed to. Pretty sure they have a US base, but not sure if they run the same content.
I'm sure they'd send a copy over if you request one.

It will be in the 300th issue which will be out next month I think..or the month after.

Not bad considering Willy Chang at Pandgfx.com had to recreate most of the stickers working from photographs of Masamis car, the only decal he had to work from was one of the old Schumacher logos. Thank Jimbo Smith for sorting this out, more info here.
