Well I'm not getting any faster now, hero lap is 28.96 but consistent laps are mid to low 29's.

Tom can you lap in the 28's?!

I've done a run that is quite clean, but I can't do a consistent run at the pace I want to... it becomes a bit of a corner cut fest!

I've done a 28.45 fastest... I just can't do a bunch of them yet, the middle section is make or break it seems, and is the scene for said corner cut fest at the moment!

I take it you will stop any corner cutting when the results are sorted?

Mine are all clean without corner cutting, but can't beat my 29.45 anymore.
I even switched the ghost on to see if I could.
I can thrash it up to the short straight before the midle table top, but I get slaughtered in the last half lap.
So it seems its all down to the final half of the lap that gives youa quick time.
Get those last few corners (from the far table top, through the mud to the finish) clean and quick and you're on for a flyer i think.

the straight after the big jump is too flat, my advantage of knowinging the inside flat line at the real Kiddy does not exist here, Im Toss

but it is quite funny how the same little things catch you out on GR as they do at the real track

The version I did, did have a smaller first jump.
Thats the main part that I'm not sure how to take...do I roll over it or just take it flat out?

It actually would be great to hear of all those little bits on tracks so they could be included in a GR version, as I've never driven or even seen irl any of these tracks im working entirely off pictures which means I cant see the small stuff only the actual features.

I have been trying the idea of using generated clouds on the heightmaps to try and make the surface a bit bumpier but I haven't so far been able to do it subtle enough so it's there but not enough to really unsettle the cars.

after the main straight, the shorter straight leading up the to table 90 degree corner is pretty bumpy right down the centre, if you go super tight its completely flat and you can go down their full bore.

Full wood

I try to keep as tight as possible, 2 wheels hanging off the inside of the jump almost - so you land straight and dont scrub speed.

has anyone submitted their time yet? I think we have until 8pm.

I sent mine in... I don't think my overall time is that good this week, but my fastest lap isn't bad.
