Hi there.

I'm in the process of restoring a kyosho maxxum ff but i'm missing a few parts that i can't find on ebay and was woundering whether anyone has any old kyosho parts kicking around that they have no use for.

I'm looking for shock bush's X4
turnbuckles and rod ends
nut's,bolts,screws etc
front shock X1
wheels and tyres, bridgestone sandsuper 340/30/30.m (same as lazer zx)

any help or info to web sites that can help me out would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Andrew

all the stuff you're listing is relatively easy to find, you just have to scout ebay a bit more. Use Marwan's repros for tires. Shocks have been used on many kyosho cars and often popup new on ebay. the rest is "generic" kyosho hardware, try to pick up a couple of used cars to cannibalize just what you need

good luck... hunting for parts is what makes vintage restore projects interesting... otherwise it's too easy

thanks for the help.

I tried looking for sandsuperstore on ebay but couldn't find it, can you post a link to the site if poss.

I've seen a few cars on ebay that would suit my needs but i'm not sure i want to spend lots of money on cars that i only want to rob a few parts from, I guess it's a waiting game and patience is a virtue.....

Search for "fd-37" on Ebay and you will find a pair of front shocks (N.I.B).
Ask the seller (krisk732) if he/she can ship to your location.

Hope that helps a bit.

Hi mate.
I'm a dab hand with all things resto.

Shocks I have (full set brand new)
Track rods I have.
Track rod ends are still current. Just type kyosho 5.8mm into eBay.
Shock bushes I have (new)
Wheels I have (worn)
Tyres you will struggle if Marwan doesn't have any but the current Tamiya Avant tyres look identical and are cheap.

Bo!

Gimmie a couple of days and I'll photograph the bits for ya.
