Help with camera

hi guys i wonder if anyone can offer some advice, the wife has a canon 350d digital camera which has now come up with a message "error cf" the memrory card seems fine as it woks in my computer but ive noticed the pins in the camera seem to be bent (i'll blame that on the mrs lol) but does anyone know if it will be worth getting repaired or would i be better off buying a 2nd hand body instead

Could be costly to get it officially repaired by Canon, I had this happen a long time ago with my partners 400d and I was able to carefully bend it back with some fine tweezers and alot of care!
