Apparently Force India still owed Ferrari some dollar for the customer engines they ran prior to the Mercedes units. I'm sure this may have been an incentive for Force India not to stand in the way of releasing Fisi from his contract. It's still a pretty short term deal though isn't it? He gets the rest of this season and if Massa comes back next year where is he gonna go? There will be less teams around next year and if he could only find a seat with (lets be honest) a bottom rung team for the last 2 years...

Hasn't Alonso signed as their number one driver, Massa as number two, that leaves fisi with a comfy retirement job working as test driver.

Also referring to the amount of teams running next year aren't there supposed to be at least two new teams including team USA

As for teams next year I just checked, BMW are leaving, unless a buyer can be found plus three new teams, Team USA, Manor & Campos

But come force now Brawn have lost the advantage of the best cars that are on the circuit what are they gunna do. 'Jenson Button’s hopes of adding to his points tally' that is what was said on the F1 site. Them dreams are slowly fading aint they? Especially as he aint got on the podium in 6 races!
