Default A little help please about wheels and B4

Hi,

I've got hold of a B4 for my 6 yr old and want to try and get some spare wheels. I've been advised to avoid AE rims as you end up trimming Schuy mini pins so wondered what I can you with minimal fuss?

Mainly gonna be using Schuy and Dboot tyres

Any advise appreciated..

Associated rear wheels are fine. If you want narrow front wheels and don't want to trim the wider AE rims then buy Schumacher Cougar slim front wheels as these are a direct fit.

AE rims are perfect on the car, and far more durable than brittle schumacher rims. Use Centro c4.1 narrow front rims for schumacher stagger ribs, they fit perfectly if you want a narrow wheel. minipins fit fine on standard width ae wheels, they are wider, but wider wheels will be easier to drive, and will be less twitchy/aggressive for him.

Yep, AE wheels with Schuey mini-pins are fine. I've used them for years. It might be that the person you spoke with meant the bead needed trimming slightly to fit the wheel but I have never found that to be the case.

Thanks thats cleared things up.. Just want to make it as painless as possible and this is the first AE car I've had.. Didn't realise about the damn thing being american and imperial measurements.

So AE rims and Schu Mini Pins / DBoots are a go.. Now to find some for a good price.

Thanks for your help.
