Default Cougar SV Pro - essential upgrades

Hey guys,

I got one of the first Cougar SV's Pro a year or more ago. I almost finished the build and then life swept me by. I want to finish it and now, and get some track time this season. I know there's been a steady stream of upgrades, can you outline them in some sort of order of priority to give me a decent reliable configuration?

Cheers all

The original gearbox casing plastic ver.1 should be replaced (for free from schumacher) with plastic ver.2 or the tuning alloy part. Plastic ver.2 with the suppl. screw does the job.

I'm running the v1 plastic gearbox with no problems at all. Just ran some insulation tape round the join to stop any crap getting in (as I've always done on any 2WD car I've had).

Main upgrades should be front turnbuckles and layshaft (I'm running the RW version). Also get some spares: rear "bumper" (holds undertray on), front turnbuckle rod ends and steering hubs. Pretty tough car to be honest though.
