Default New comer (well returning after a few years)

Hi all

My name is Ste I'm 25 and have finally taken the step back into rc cars but I have hit a slight hitch....

I now own two 3racing sakura s chassis both second hand one has been built minus electrics the other is still in kit form (looking foward to the build)

I live in bridgnorth and can't for the life of me find the club I used to go to (in a time before Internet and forums where widely used by clubs) I remember it wa around the Telford area and used to run inside of a lead urs centre (I think madely)

I'm not even sure if this club still races and meets but if any one has any information or any other clubs that run 1:10 indoors touring cars around bridgnorth area(I think Dudley has got one) please get intouch

Thank you for any responses
Ste

Hi thanks for the info didn't know there was a directory

Unfortunately they don't seem to be around anymore.

Looks like its time to find a club running 1/10 touring around here

Default Indoors buggy.

Hi

I am also new returning to rc and also live in bridgnorth.

Just been to the Telford hot tracs which used to run , I believe, from Madeley.

It now runs from the hadley learning community in Telford. Just round the corner from the trench lock interchange. They run on carpet and it is mainly buggies but I went with my old tc3 touring and they were happy for me to run. Nice easy going club.

Wednesday night check in at 7.30 start racing 8. Finish at 10.

James

yes, Telford Hot Trax use to be based in the old Madeley court centre which has now been flattened!
We're now based in Hadley Learning Community which is a much better venue.
As mentioned we run on carpet with a mixture of 1/10th buggies and micros but as there are usually no jumps you'd be just fine with a touring car.

We normally "aim" to get there for around 7.00-7.15 and racing usually starts just before 8pm and they kick us out at 10pm

If you're unsure of how exactly to find HLC you can view our map here...
http://www.oople.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=123
or give me a PM and i'll give you a more detailed idea.

Do come along, even if it's to see if we can remember you from the early days back in madeley!!!! (i've been racing 23 years so there's a good chance!)

see you wednesday.
Andy.
