Default Tamiya TRF511 Re-Build/Re-Store.

Hi all,

For those who are interested, I thought I would do a complete Re-Build/Re-Store of my TRF511.

I have been collecting for a while now a lot of new in packet parts.

These are,

TRF Complete Screw Kit including Tamiya Blue Screws
New Chassis
New Top Decks
New Complete Blue Parts (the complete 511).
New in Packet TRF 511 Shocks
New wishbones
New Diffs
New Belts
New centre slipper
New in packet Tamiya TRF 511 Original Body and Undertray set.

To name a few.

Once I get the chance, I will do a complete picture step by step build.

My current car that's on the shelf, raced it in shorty layout about 2 years back, went pretty well for an old car

Hi suparajicon,

Yes, some of the parts from you, but most from all around the world

I have some spare bearings etc - they're used but shout if they'd help - will do a reasonable price on eBay - I splashed out £50 on Acer ceramics you see - may have a latshaft new too - that's for the chap thinking of doing one up...

Looking superb Mark.....
I agree about TRF, but Tamiya seem to want to concentrate on mass market , plastic, kits.... I guess that's where the money is though......how many TRFs would they sell compared to,say, Lunchboxes..!
