K2 EOS Carpet setup

I have been trying everything to get my K2 to behave on EOS carpet. My biggest issue is that no matter what I do I am getting a great amount of grip roll so always have to slow down so loose all of my corner speed. Does anyone have a setup that really works for them? I am currently trying Michael Orlowski EOS setup from Petit RC but am still having issues. I am using Cactus tyres with the outer rows removed but they are still too much. Wide cut staggers just have understeer. Any help appreciated.

I think people have removed the centre 2 rows of spikes from the cactus front tyres as well as inner and outer rows and glued the sidewalls. My mate said they only lasted a few runs though...

I tried removing the centre rows but not the outer first time round so next time out I tried with the outer rows off but not the centre rows. I would expect the centre rows are an issue when you have very sensitive steering but the issue I seem to be having is that I am getting extreme grip roll from the from end which is coming more from the outer part of the tyre and have to back off power on so many corners it is like driving Miss Daisy . I think I will have to try a thicker front antiroll bar.

I ran Michal’s setup for the MKGP with the middle two rows cut and both sidewalls superglued on the front, no grip role

Hi Grant,

Perhaps try knighthawk's setup but bare in mind the carpet at the MKGP had less traction then the carpet we run at the TORCH winter series.

Hope you get it sorted though. Also Spring is on the way so we will be outside more soon.

I guess it maybe due to the fact I did not super glue the outside edges that I have so much grip roll. Trouble is I see other manufacturers cars and their drivers not having the same grip roll issues. I am sure they have not done all this prep work.
