Anyone got contacts who can water jet cut etc 5mm alloy plate cheaply?

Why don't you try Jenvey or even Steve broughton at SB Developments.
They do everything red top  and Steve actually mapped my TB's set up in my 2.0xe set up I had the TP208 kit with MBE ecu (nice and small compared to stock)There is also a firm in Sandbach called Advanced Vehicle Technologies who manufacturer all sorts of stuff for TB's owned by a Mr Mangoletsi they have an office in knutsford also called Mangoletsi manifolds.
