Default Dynamix last sunday

Had a really good day racing last sunday, and was good to see the track for the first time, straight away it's easy to see a lot of time and effort has gone into it, i just need to set the B44 up for astro and i'm sorted! hats off to Paul and the others involved for what they have achieved!!

once the club makes some money i think you should get a cheap 20ft container then you can have that as a rostrum

Not sure how much the container itself would cost, but i imagine the materials required to make it save and accessible via steps etc would cost quite a lot. Would be a great vantage point however.

Hi Guys i looked @ a container at the start of the project 12 months ago
due to the price of scrap going up the price of the containers have shot up
for a watertight container to are looking @ a minamum £1500.00 + transport + steps + railings in total arround £2400.00 +vat so unfortunatly we just carnt afford it at the moment.

we do have a 20ft long and standing hight of 8ft scaffold rostrum witch is
ideal and give a full view of the track presently in storage to use when the attendance numbers rise but i am unwilling to leave it set up for it to be stollen

hope to see you at dynamix soon

Regards Paul

Why not have the rostrum concreted in to the ground, then tack weld the scaffy bars together, then it could be left up,that would stop the theft of it.

it would be best to have a purpose build rostrum as when i went down last week it put me off a bit just seeing a few pallets stood there plus on the safety side of things pallets arent the best things to use as they can crack under the weight of someone stood on them and you dont want someone putting a claim in against the club , having the rostrum concreted in and welded would be a good idea on that idea
