Default Reedy sonic

Any one run a Reedy Sonic (6.5 or 7.5) and care to share their experience?

How does it compare to Speed Passion/LRP/Orion/etc?

Thanks

I went from a SP v3 7.5 to a sonic 6.5 and the car feels twice as fast round our small track. Borderline mental in fact. I love it haha.

It isn't actually much faster at all, but it's so much more fun to drive. Will drive it outdoors shortly.

Its easy to win with a motor when you got a factory drive and can run a new motor every run. I also dont like SP motors and think the LRP is a wikid motor (the x12 not tryed x20) and the reedy motor form what i seen is very good

Or the touring car onroad worlds for the last events, really shit aren't they, but this is from the man who spouts most of it from his mouth.

I wouldn't normally post reply's Where GazhillAE has commented but his comments are just rubbish!!

To be fair for the original poster. The reedys do look a very nice motor and seem to perform well. You cannot go wrong with ANY that you mention. I like the ease of the plugs on the speed passion motors, some don't.
Good luck on your choice.

Nicely put - for me I'd be purchasing an Orion or HPI, but that's because I like those products!

I know others who like SP, LRP and so forth. Fair play to them

I changed motors in my Centro from a Team Wave 5.5 (which was very lairy) to a Sonic 7.5, left the gearing the same and the car felt faster and was easier to drive. I was and still am very impressed with it.

The 17.5 I bought was a different story but have since learnt that I may have had to gear up dramatically compared to say a Novak Ballistic or LRP
