new used cougar sv pro,now what
Ok so this is my first schumachar cougar sv pro its used and iam going to start racing with it this summer.what would be the first thing I should do? Check tranny diff gears
? And what mandatory upgrades should I add? I ordered a hobbywing 120a ESC and10.5 brushless combo and going to get the savox 1258TG servo,what lipo? Stick or saddle and what size? Any help would be greatly appreaicated Cheers

lipo wise, virtually any 4500 and above will be fine, and don't worry about the c rating too much - mine are 30c and it wheelies very easy!.
Stick packs are fine to use, saddles also work for some drivers, I would say more use stick pack though. Your electrics seem a good choice :-) 5 degree castor blocks work very well

Cheers mate thanks for the reply,what are caster blocks? And I will be running on astro so can you recamend some good tyres.?

castor blocks are the "u" shape bits that the steering arms attach to. Kit ones are 0 degree, but 5 degree in most cases make the steering more direct, but you should try both and see which you prefer on your track.
Tyres on astro are Schumacher yellow mini spikes rear and usually Schumacher stagger / cut stagger on the front (cut staggers give a bit more steering) If it's wet Ballistic Buggy greens are what most use, but Schumacher silvers may also work

both are handy bits of kit, we do use the both depending on what matthew wants out of the car, and as stated ally inlines are slighlt more agressive and stronger, we do tend to run the 5 degree blocks the most,

yes, but tried with the wishbones the right way at the weekend and quite liked it

we run them the right way round most of the time with the +8 chassis, but have tried both and makes for a easy yuning aid
