Default British GT

Was watching the British GT championship on TV and something caught my eye.......

One of the Vipers looked to have a big 'AE' sticker slapped on the side in sky blue. Looking into it it seems CML are sponsoring The RPM Team in the championship this year which I thought was quite interesting as to me it seemed that the 'AE' Sticker was the biggest on the car.

Anyone else follow GT and noticed that too??

Alex Mortimer (one of the RPM motorsport drivers) races for CML's 8th rallycross team, top bloke.

lat year the team ran a 911, and I think the year before?

CML have been in with this team for quite a while I think.

Alex shares the car with Bradley Ellis who just happens to be someone who I used to work with when he was racing karts in the British Championships.

Brad has been down to a few rallycross nationals to see Alex race. I have let a few kart racers have a go with some some of my RC cars but I learnt my lesson very quickly...

Johnny Cocker who is in the British GT Championships is a local guy to me. I believe him and his team mate are one point behind the leaders going into the last round.

I know him through his VW connections... he turned up at our clubs rolling road day in June to try his own day to day car.

Nice guy and wish him all the best for this weekend at Rockingham.

I was in California a few years back and went to see Losi HQ, well Horizon, and they had a Indy Car in their reception, seems Losi sponsored that car in the Indy 500 sometime before, not sure exactly of the dates, but the Indy car was very small, oh and they did show me around but didnt give me anything LOL

whatever, But i do like the ae sticker on the side, that shows that full scale people really do care about the little guys. And if you check the post times, i did those two back-to-back 30 seconds. The minimum time between posts. I did it as a joke.
