Default RC-Area 1/10th Electric Masters 2013

RC-Area is very excited to announce that Storm Valley Raceway are holding their first RC-Area 1/10th Electric Masters event on the 1st September 2013. This one day race meeting is open to all abilities across the 2WD, 4WD and SC classes and will feature one round of timed practice, four rounds of qualifying and five minute finals with a top 2 bump up.

Storm Valley Raceway is a medium size indoor off-road DIRT track that measures 30mts long by 20mts wide. The track itself features layouts that have been built with racers in mind and are designed to be fast and flowing with just the right amount of technicality while still offering the opportunity for good side by side racing. The facility also includes a covered pit area, with room for 60 plus racers to pit comfortably inside!

Full details can be found at http://www.rc-area.co.uk/2013/07/28/...-masters-2013/

What tyres/compounds normally work well on this surface? This pics look like it reasonable dust free and moist but hard to be certain.

Thanks.

M4 & M3 work well here, we try to keep the track moist so its not hard wearing on tyres smaller the pin the better

Yes might come along to this myself, can you give an indication of the most popular tyre? Are Holeshots as good as any?

Thinking of coming tomorrow, I guess that there's a good supply of tyres at the venue? Also on a 2wd what's the best front wheel size skinny or medium?
