Default R/C Holiday?! Primrose Valley RC Model Week

The team behind the annual Primrose Valley RC Model week have been in contact with details of this years event, which runs from the 11th-18th May this year.
Located high on the cliffs of the British seaside town Filey, the two tracks have stunning views of the coastline, and is conveniently located within the grounds of a holiday park.
With a multitude of classes available to race and a bargain price of £25 per class for a full 5 days racing, and plenty of other holiday activities nearby, this event looks to be a great opportunity for r/c enthusiasts to relax and race in idyllic surroundings.

Further information will be posted in the Primrose Valley thread within the Broughton Raceway section on oOple - check it out here: http://www.oople.com/forums/showthread.php?t=120214

It is a great place to bring the family. There are swimming pools, kids rides and arcades. There is family entertainment in the afternoons and evenings, well I say kids but I have seen dad's dancing away with Rory the tiger.
It's a great week with only one rule....HAVE FUN.

Colin we love the place, definitely better than the other two local Haven sites along that part of the coast Blue Dolphin and Reighton Sands. Top venue with loads for the kids, loads of pools, rides etc just can get a little windy. Its been a couple of years but I'm sure it hasn't changed.

Fingers crossed we can sort something out.

Hi, we cater for all classes, bring as much as you can, we will fit you in to a heat. Off road wise 1/10th and 1/8th are well supported. Camping is not available trackside, you would have to book with Haven on there touring pitch, however I believe they only allow caravans and motorhomes on the Primrose Valley touring pitch. I know some of the regular guys stay in tents at the Blue Dolphin site just a couple of minutes down the road.

That's an issue then, 90% of the people who would probabally go too this would camp!

I know a few guy from my local club were looking at coming but not sure they will go for it!

Like Juttie said, most groups chip in together and share a Haven caravan. 5 guys normally costs about £60 each, not bad for a week's holiday. Or as stated, Haven Blue Dolphin is literally two minutes drive up the road, which is a site more suited for tents. Some of our regular racers who attend every year use this site and drive to the circuits each day.

Hi Jonathon the racing goes on most days during the week there is off road and on road so it would depend when you turn up and what is going on if you are local turn up and have a look.
Danny have a word with RcModelweek on here he may be able to sort you out.
Cheers Ashley

I just noticed, "£25 per class for a full 5 days racing"
I am assuming this MUST be a typo or it would cost me £185 to race this year!!!?
