You'll be fine with it straight from the box, its surprisingly good in that set up.

The only thing I did on my sons car when I built it was put the rear springs on the outer hole and put some larger washers under the rear pod between o rings and pod as the standard ones tend to work themselves through the hole and hold the rear pod at funny angle making the car corner good one way and bad the other and that was about it and put the stickers on tyres as it helps to stop them getting chunked

Run kit settings, run as low as possible. If you got the diff, strip, degrease, relube, adjust as tighten fully, back off one whole turn and then a 1/16th.

relace the o rings on the rear pod with these, fitting washers will reduce your droop.

What is the advantage of these? not seen these mentioned elsewhere. I'm on the second set of schumacher ones, the first got eaten by the underside of the pod, washers has definitely helped protect the replacements.

Can someone explain this? What stickers is Lardy talking about?
Would surely appreciate something that can protect my tires a bit longer.

Lowie. In the boxes that the Contact tyres come in there's some stickers. The numbered stickers are for identifying the tyre shore rating and the large circle stickers are what goes on the outside of the tyre . Hth

Sorry to drag an old thread up but do you mean leave the o rings off and replace with the silicon washers? I have bought a second hand Supastox which has the silicon washers and o rings together so I'm a bit confused now
