Default Big bore springs

Hi there
Indoors I've been running Losi blue on the front & Losi pink on the rear.
Outdoors on astro Losi black on the front & again Losi pink on the rear.
The car so far has been awesome!

Hope this helps

On the normal RB6 I normally have X-gear yellows on the front (part way between Losi Green and Losi Blue) and Losi Pink (just a little stiffer than X-gear Orange) on the rear with the extra self drilled inside hole, without the extra hole X-gear red was always the spring of choice for me.

Hope that helps.

I also did some testing and found the same as you for the front. Xgear yellow is a little stiffer than losi green. For the rear i found xgear gold very similar with losi pink.

Cheers

According to the test equipment I've been using the following is about right for the rear

X-gear white almost exactly the same as Losi white
X-gear gold between Losi white and Losi yellow
X-gear red very close to Losi yellow
X-gear yellow between Losi yellow and pink
Losi pink between X-gear yellow and orange
X-gear orange between Losi pink & red but nearer the pinks
Losi red are really quite stiff!

Hope that helps.

Hi Roger,

Did you had a chance to test the Losi springs?

For example, I have a rear Xgear red and a Losi Yellow in front of me and there is a big differnence in stiffness? The Losi yellow is a very soft spring and the Xgear red is very stiff.

I think you meant "Losi red are really quite stiff" as they should be the stiffest in your range

Corrected, sorry folks!

I use the Losi springs for tuning but find the X-gear springs "feel" more progressive on the car. It's hard to explain exactly why but I feel the car is less prone to erratic behaviour on the X-gear springs.

All my Losi springs are the original type, not tested the later ones personally.
