I cant remember how to get the Toyota, its a big race, maybe an endurance.

The black cars come up for sale in the second hand sections every 700 days for 1 week, save around 10mil if you want the set of 4, they are seriously quick.

The R92CP is the quickest but my favourite at the moment is the R390, it just goes so well

Im not good at this game anymore, how about the Tokyo street track? try and beat 1:13.465
Just done the Tokyo track with the F1....1m07.793.

Sorry.
And there were a couple of little mistakes like clipping a kerb or brushing the barriers in there too, so it can be done a lot faster.
Ijust got bored after about 40 laps cos I couldn't beat the ghost car.

Haha, I got the lap on about lap 7 or something like that, but I spent the other laps trying to beat it without making silly mistakes.

Do you play with a pad or wheel tel?

I've got gt4 + the driving force pro.. but never really gave either a proper go! I've not been a big fan for gt games as i never seemed to get anywhere without doing race after race scraping money for poor cars.

Any tips? might break it out and have a play..

I'm using a joypad but not the one that comes with the ps2. They've got the pressure sensetive buttons....which I haven't got, cos mine broke and I just can't be arsed to get a new one. especially now thwt I'll probably be getting the ps3.

I found gt4 easier in terms of getting the money fast. If you've got a saved game from gt3 then you can use that when you start a 'fresh game'. it gives you 100'000 to start with. other than that, just get a car with you 10'000 and just do the races that you can and get a bit of dosh.

even though I'd got 100'000 I started as if I hadn't got it and bought a second hand scooby for about 5'000. I did some more races got some extra dosh and bought stuff like soft tyres, racing suspension, and nos. just so that I could enter some of the bigger races and win some faster cars. I used that car for ages, just winning cars and then selling them on to get more dosh.

Just got my best time on the 'ring of 5'19'398 in the toyota gt1.

When i want money i do one of the tarmac rally's, dead twisty track, 4 laps (2 normal, 2 revers) get 10,000 for that and a car that you can sell for 265,000. dead easy.

GT mode. for some reason I can't get the Toyota Gt1 in arcade mode.
Stage 4 turbo, no Nos, soft tyres. steering driving aids turned down to 2 and traction control turned down to 2.
messed around with the set up a little.

Took me ages to get a clean lap in, without running off the track.
I would've thought with the wheel you would get a much better time, cos I couldn't push out of the corners due to the 'on-off switch' throttle that i'm using.

If I could get a smooth run in, it would be faster but I had to go a lot slower through the turns, cos if i hit a kerb wrong I can't come off the throttle and then get back on it smooth enough without the car swapping ends.

I may pop to Asda at lunch and buy it now the PS3 firmware update seems to have fixed previous issues with backwards compatibility on this game.

my god how are you going so fast around the ring? i just won the toyota minolta, 1st time driving it did 6.09 in gt mode! i havent driven that track at all recently so a little practice and staying on the road might get me 30secs... maybe...!!! i must agree the main reasons i went off was the bumps!

EDIT: and managed 1.18.0 at tokyo with the toyota minolta
