Default Tyre choices.

With my return to touring cars what tyres are for what conditions and surfaces. 20 years since is raced these and it was d20/pitshimitshoes (spelt wrong definitely) but there seems to be a lot more choice now, probably racing indoors on carpet at Stafford and Midlands.

The volante micc tyre works well on that carpet, good grip and wear.

Check with the racers at the club what's best. Most clubs have open tyre rules at club meetings, but they will all end up running whatever tyre is the best for their track.
