Cool that they have done it, but so glad I sold most of my original ones whilst they fetched a good price!

I wonder,

Will Schumacher release spares for it. Or will people buy kits and split them on Ebay like the norm......

Just a thought, if Schumacher are releasing new diffs and slipper, will parts be available ?

It was just a thought, I'm not sure if it would be a limited run for the buggy only.

So does it come with the upgraded transmission? or do you need to buy that to run brushless reliably , OR is the upgraded transmission available to convert original cars to use brushless ?

From what I've read it doesn't come with the upgraded transmission ,that's an extra £100 on top of the kit price .

I'm guessing they're supplying the kit in that way to keep the purists / shelf queen people happy ,whilst giving the racers the option of the upgrade .

For sure, to run it you will need the upgraded tranny. Otherwise original MMS diffs and layshaft.
The original will be for shelf queens.

different view

of course you can run it as standard you will just need to be careful on motor choice and not go silly

agreed with neil, if you want to run modern low wind brushless motors the upgraded tranny will be required

You will be able to run it out the box with whatever motor you want because now you can get spares

No pics or details as of yet but MB are stating front and rear diff upgrade, slipper and belts. So I take from that it'll be a full 3M belts and full fat KF type slipper, mines ordered and I'm like a kid waiting for Christmas

I've not ordered the tranny as yet as i'm still undecided exactly which way the car will go. That said, i've still got an MMS diff and layshaft in the scabby original car here so I might rob those temporarily if I find the standard tranny struggling. Would be interesting to see what they've done to upgrade it...
