Default Eden Park Raceway Winter Warmer Series

On the basis of their successful winter series, EPR will once again be running a six-round winter series starting in October called the Winter Warmer. Running one meeting per month to avoid conflict with the other series' running in the south of the country, the EPR events will take place on the first weekend of every month from October through to March. Currently, there are no tyre rules in place, but favourites are the Schumacher Yellow and Green Mini Spikes although the club has stated that the Turf Ripper from Fastrax should work well too. The dates are as follows:
Round One 3 October 2010
Round Two 7 November 2010
Round Three 5 December 2010
Round Four 2 January 2011
Round Five 6 February 2011
Round Six 6 March 2011

There is no need to pre-book for these meetings. The track will open from 8.30am for practice with four rounds of qualifying starting at 10am. Classes to be run will be 2WD, 4WD and Short Course/Stadium Truck running separately.

EPR do have a few creative ways to possibly get a trophie or a prize on the day.
In very wet/slippery conditions we have been known to have a prize for best drifting during a race. I am sure we will have a number of raffles.
But perhaps we could have a trophie for the person that drives the furthest to race, I see your from newport

Mate with your hair do you do blend in rather well with those sheep. You may need to bring one to keep warm seeing as its getting colder

Yep no problem!

We understand that its quite a drive for some of you so we try to be as accomodating as possible. If you wish to come up on the Saturday, we will lay the track so you can make the most of the trip and practice as much as you like in the afternoon.

The cafe inside the sports club should be open from 10am and the bar at midday until late. There is of course plenty of fast food places, supermarket, pub and petrol station within walking distance.

Unfortunately, there is no possibility to pitch tents on the site (should you be be brave enough) due to the football, etc but if anyone needs somewhere local to park up and sleep in their van/camper/motorhome, let me know.

If you have any more questions, please just ask.
