Great shock stand idea and nicely laid out.

Nice, coming along great now.

Just check your front turnbuckles. Think the studs should be behind the front tower not in front.

Cheers. You're 100% right, I've noticed it after I took the pic I'll sort tonight when I'm back home.

Your cars coming along nicely. Here is some pics of mine. Rear tower is my design and has wire holes cut out for neat placement and is made by Fibrelyte (link below in my name tag. Youll notice my twin metal wishbone brace on the front for more strength. and VTS slipper ican just be made out in the picture, plus rude blitz brass cell weights and cut out areas for the wiring. Ive got the wrong length steering turnbuckle fitted so will get around to replacing and will change the ball joints as the B4 version isnt as good as the TC version that came with the B2

Just waiting for the front full spikes to arrive so I can fit them and hope she is up to the pace im gonna put her at next week.

How it's currently Looking:

A bit of soldering left to do, sort wheels and tyres and which body to use.

Thank you , must admit I'm quite happy with it.
Setup, my starting setup.is quite different to yours (its heavily based on a French carpet setup from petitRc), but can't say how it drives yet, so will update once it's run and I've made changes to get close to what I like.
I've got a decent amount of weight under the spacing foams to weigh the car down, can't see a 200g battery working in this without extra weight...

Gear cover in place Rpm from the B4:

Wiring done. Esc calibrated and set to something close to what I expect to want, we shall see...

Wing on. Body and wheels still to sort, hopefully tomorrow.

Thought to share another little secret/update of this car:
Avid triad. Contemplated using a vts, but since I run these in my modern cars, this simplifies spares etc.

Thank you. Got 3 painted shells that came with it, 1 that I quite like, so I'll start with that, and then possibly it the future paint one on my current colours. Suggestions however are more than welcomed

This shell is on for now, I quite like it but it's not in my colours. It will do for now:

Second car started being built, the intention for this is to be a nice close to std spec b3, probably as an occasional runner.
Using the modified chassis with thebattery cutouts and new stainless screws. Early stages but:

My pitbox I'm afraid, it's a selection of screws from various older associated cars inc (and not limited) a b4, b44.3, rc10wc etc...
Haven't found a b2/3 specific kit yet, but it's not too difficult to make up one, I'm keeping track of what is being used and then might be able to put together a set
