No, nothing yet ... not sure if there will be either.
Will be watching the smae RC news sites as everybody else for this. TBH, fit carbon top decks and the car is plenty stiff enough. |

correct, however that is because the stock chassis is a tub, which makes it alot stiffer. with the carbon flat chassis it allows more flex.. ie b44 etc

The original chassis is very soft. Especially in torsion.
I have made a prototype chassis for the Lazer in 3mm fibreglass which is much stiffer. A friend have been doing some test driving with it and is all positive with it.

Tebos chassis is 5mm thick.. and apparantly has it milled out like the stock FS chassis where the gearboxes etc go for added support.. hence the thickness..
As Roger has said i'd say the car with top decks (my version ) is stiff enough.. I have however spoken with my carbon man and 2.5/3mm will be the way to go..matt carbon too.. Only downside will be the lack of an undertray.. as standard the car in wet weather stays dry inside... flat carbon wouldnt be as good.. |
