Default Schumacher Bosscat

So I bought this a while ago from Mick (Moozo) and i deciced id enter it in the BMR Schumacher challenge and I’ve finally got round to sorting it.

So I decided I wanted to run it with a shorty instead of saddles so got myself a new chassis from Fiberlitye, without any cell cutouts and no post holes drilled well that was the intention but it arrived with 1 drilled but I won’t see it with the Esc over it.

So with the new chassis and a load more parts I’d been stock piling I made a start.

No idea why the pics are so big I’ve started using imgur and that’s how there turning out

So started with some nip side plates nip alloy Schumacher transmission housing nip Schumacher alloy eccentrics all mates up with a new rear diff drum new high toque rear belts and a new main belt.

I found some lightly alloy bearing holders and I started with what I think is a Wasp Racing Nylon Z bracket but changed my mind and went for a new MMS one

Fitted my Atomic Carbon shock towers and rear camber link from my Procat.

Works rear arms and hubs

Also used some ballraced steering that I’ve acquired over the last year or so

Then it was onto the shorty figment, this was from a Carisma 4SX

I then had to sort the front turnbuckles and crappy screws and rebuilt the shocks

So this was the chassis sorted so time to sort the body, there’s a few issues but i can live with them

I do it all off my phone so have to add in the IMG bit on the link otherwise it’s just a link to the pic rather than it being imbedded

I use Imgur as an image host and when choosing the picture right before you select the link at the bottom of the menu is has a picture size option , I found the best size is large thumbnail , otherwise you get huge pictures , I work from a tablet nearly the whole time, it should be the same as a phone , you do get some more detail with the big pictures though .

I think the bosscat is probably the best looking of the old cats. Looks awsome, a bit more colour on the shell would have been good
