have the committee agreed to buggies running on Sat nights?

would they run 5 or 6 minute heats?

would the on road classes be reduced to 5 minutes to accomodate the buggies?

Just my little bit, i dont see why any other class would need to be altered to accomodate buggies.

i know its not even happening yet but to bear in mind that it would be good to stay away from sunday racing for a couple of reasons. 1st, alot of buggy racers from the north east enter other non club events that run on sundays so would affect attendance although if they was lots of interest that wouldnt be a problem. 2nd Seaham run on sundays (when they are no comps), with only being 20mins ish up the road we would not want to take racers away from there night and hopfully get some of there racers to attend trcc's night.

Benfield does run on a friday night but being nearly an hour away i dont think a clash would have much effect!

well at the moment it is just all talk and ideas we could end up racing friday nights if the interest is there for it . as years back we did race on a friday night but we will just have to see what happens but for now we could just race on a saturday night and also it will do the track some good

You go past newcastle tyne met college on the way to benfield which run touring cars and buggies on monday night from 7-10pm except bank holiday mondays which had 14 buggies and 14 touring cars running this monday just gone and that is with a few people missing who normally turn up so shouldnt be a problem running both classes on the same day/night................

Hey Ken this sounds good, I have just seen this, it's a little tucked away, how are people gonna turn up if they don't know it's happening.

I should be there !
