1991 RCP Catalogue

Came across an old catalogue from when i raced at Peterlee Buggy Club with my Schumacher CAT XLS (modified to Procat).

Does anyone know what happened to this company ?

Hope this brings back the memories as it did for me.

A real blast from the past. I remember this place well and got all my stuff from here before the advent of internet shopping !. The guy was called Glynn if i recall correctly ?

It was owned by Peter Hex in those days.
I am sure Sooty cant think of his real name, took over but closed down know i think.

i think it was glyn who used to do the radio race car rounds years ago, with the rcp spares.

Peter Hex owned RCP , he sold it on when he became ill with cancer in the late 90's
The new owner then moved it out of Bridgnorth and then it closed about 2 years later.
Roger Sutcliffe then opened R/C Shop in the same shop in Bridgnorth which closed about 3 years

I remember RCP spent most of my maths lessons looking at there little books. I have quite a few up in the loft, used to a very nice scottish lady who would take my mums credit card details from me.........sadly I did have to pay mum back.....hmmmm them were the days

Infact if I had been doing my school work instead of reading model cars monthly, radio race car, RCP and srm books in the back of class I may have been able to sodding spell......Damn this hobby
