Default Jelly Batteries!

Interesting battery development, sounds like they wouldn't need to be hardcased!
But I wonder whether they'll catch on.

"A new polymer jelly could be the next big step forward for lithium batteries.
The jelly replaces the volatile and hazardous liquid electrolyte currently used in most lithium batteries."

an interesting technology - but if it does catch on and r/c cars are able to use them, I can't see them being only 10-20% of the cost of lipo cells.....maybe 10-20% more expensive would be a reality!
