its worth getting as it helps stabalise it
the type of chassis you get dimec or dimec 20 will depend on the type of track you run on. With the spec B chassis you'll need the new spec b front bulkhead, toe blocks and if you run rear motor the rear motor guard |

Your correct there dude, there is the Dimec and Dimec20 the Dimec20 being the firmer of the 2 and probably better suited to astro.
the spec B is the current version of the Dimec's The original had issues with being very weak on the front kickup and around the rear, where the plastic was cracking and breaking around the screw holes. so they released the Spec b which strengthens the plastics and addresses the weakness. which is why you need the new front bulkhead as the kit original and thr tresrey ones dont fit. |

Which chassis is in the rtr kit? Is it the type B or is it the weak(?) gen1 version?

As far as I know its the original dimec chassis.
Which is why they got hit with the price drop. Clear out the old stuff to make way for the new |
