Default DEX 210 Chassis options?

I'm thinking of building a DEX 210 from base up to my own spec.
Just wondering what opinions people have of the standard
Team Duango chassis compared to the aluminium or carbon fibre
chassis which are also available ?

Any suggestions or experience of these chassis would be appreciated.

Quite a few drivers have used the DIMEC and DIMEC B now I believe. I liked the DIMEC, gave plenty of grip both front and rear. Unfortunately also came at a price as the rear wishbone screw hole broke through on a run when the car landed on one corner hard off a table top. I now run a chassis made by James Clifford, +8mm alloy, except the extenion is to the rear of the car, not the front as with the other chassis. The cells can still sit up to the motor, but with the added strength of alloy and that you can still use the standard size body, just cut a little outside the normal trim lines at the front and back.

I will get some photo's up of it when I rebuild it next week.

Only other chassis options I would choose are weights. Don;t go mad with them as the car seems to end up being like a pendulum. I know a few who run a thin brass weight under the LiPo and like this. I personally run 30g up front under the servo and thats it.

there the standard kit alloy chassis
the Dimec Spec B
the Dimec 20 Spec B (the 20 is slightly thicker and offers a bit less flex, the spec B resolves the issues with the front and back snapping or cracking after landings and crashes)
RDRP +11 alloy chassis
8 Racing +8 carbon
