I have build a fresh kit, for my son, in which I have put the esc behind the servo(low-profile). It should be better than on top of the servo.

I will be mounting the receiver in the back of the car. You can neatly wire the leads under the lipo's as they don't sit flat on the alu chassis ;-)

She's all done now: without body she comes in at 1734gr. and the left to reight weight ratio is exactly 50% when the PT is installed :-D
Shocks with cut bladders and yokomo high grade o-rings, f***** fantastic! Some titanium turnbuckles and Jconcepts ballends are still waiting to be assembled...

I like the foam tires, how did you do it? I assume you bought 1/8 scale foams on tires and acetoned them down and glued them again.... Correct?

Which foams? Which shop? Have been looking earlier into this, but without success so far(or I might have been looking in the wrong places).

Unless you are going to use a low-pro servo. In that case you may be lucky and fit it in behind the servo depending on which speedo you are going to use. There is an upgrade kit coming out very soon which moves the cells and motor/spur assy nearer the rear of the car, which should allow the speedo to be mounted behind the servo and shift more weight to the rear for balance. This upgrade kit will also allow the use of a shorty battery on one side of the chassis with the motor mounted behind the spur assy which will free up a lot of space at the front and again change the balance and dynamics of the car. Im not sure if all new cars will come with the new chassis or if it will only be available as a tuning option.
