Well, that's a flat one... the one my friend made is a fully moulded tub chassis (A-C S2/S4 style)

Hello,

i am Martin Achter. perhaps a few of you know me.
I saw this thread about the carbon DEX410 chassis.
To clear things up, i am making this chassis for the Durango under my own company called 8-racing. The normal retail price is 69€.

The advantage of this chassis is that it has more flex than the alloy one.
This gives you more grip on less grip tracks. additionally it is 60g lighter than the stock one (120g stock, 60g carbon)
But you have to run it with the alloy sidebars, with the plastic sidbars from the 410R, it has to much flex and the driveshafts can jump out.

Let me know what you think!

Hey Martin, thanks for coming on and posting about it - I was most happy to let you know about this thread.

The product looks great! How does it compare to the alloy chassis with plastic side bars - IE the 410R?

Hi,

my company site is www.8-racing.de its only german at the moment.
I don't have much products at the moment, but a lot of intresting parts in the pipe like carbon shocktowers for different models and carbon chassis for 1/8th scale.

For international orders, you can order over my webshop or just write me an email. I think email is easier, cause the shop is just german at the moment. martin@8-racing.de

The Durango 410 with carbon chassis and alloy sidebars has pretty the same flex than the original 410R with alloy chassis and plastic sidebars.

Thanks Simon for letting me know about this thread

Thanx Martin for the information.

I must admit that carbon chasis looks very tempting.

This is the most beautiful single R/C car part I've ever seen. I mean, you must be over 18 to view the thing here in the US, that's downright pornographic.
