Default which 13.5t motor

as above , what 13.5t motor would you recomened .

I think my old novak ss motor is getting a bit tired , it doesnt seem to have much braking power as well now too , ive been told that if the magnetic force is low it will cause a lack of high speed braking ( something that was one of my problems at newbury ) ..

ive been thinking of either ..

gm 13.5t
sp v.3
trinity ea duo 3 ( due soon )

i was after one ready for chippenham ( just over 2 weeks to go ) , but was after maybe another for a spare , so thats why i didnt include a novak ballistic ! ( an extra £25 on the others )

it will be going in a photon with a sp esc with turbo software ...

Makes sense to match the SP motor with the SP speedo. Same combo I use. No lack of power.

I've ran quite a few 13.5's, i've found the best have been the Tekin and the Nosram Pure/LRP X12. The Speed Passion V3.0 aren't bad motors either, was enough to beat you at newbury on sunday

you name the problems , i had em , broken wheels , tires coming off , to hgh geared , and i rounded the pinion grub screw ! , un-charged lipos and did i mention , little to no brakes !! ...

GM motor with the 1600gauss rotor will give you excellent breaking.

thanks for your help ..

whats the main difference between the 1600 gauss or the 1300 gauss , is there a major difference in top end if running the 1300 gauss ..

ive sorted my brake issue , fitted another motor a losi 13.5t motor , i had very strong and instant brakes , i had to reduce them down ..

Have a look at the team powers 13.5 it's BRCA approved and I run one myself along with the team. At 50.00 it's a bargain and as good as the rest.

Another one to look at is our Hobbywing 13.5T comes in Blue or Sexy Gunmetal works perfectly with the Speed Passion (for obvious reasons) very cool running and reasonably priced. Hoping to get them ratified for BRCA in the VERY near future.
