Well painted the new body... got a flow-tek, but have not made any cutouts yet...very happy, especially with the matt and gloss black bit...

Top job Alex!

My DESC410R isn't finished yet cos someone needs to steal some bits from it temporarily!

I'll have to pull my finger out and get it finished!

Ran the car for the first time at TORCH today after finishing the enduro 6 hour race, it was a little bit floaty.... and the body leaned out heavily, so I am guessing the change in springs for a stiffer spring will help with that???

So i think some refinements on the setup is needed, however it ran well, and it was fun to drive.... very very pleased...

Yes idd some stiffer springs should do the trick... also lowering it a bit could help...

I also use thicker oil

So another question for those of you using a RX8 speedo.... when i hotwired into the speedo, it stated that it was forward with brakes and delayed reverse, how do you switch off reverse? I have currently set the reverse speed to zero, is this the right thing to do???

there are a whole heap of options in the hotwire to set the motor how you want, i forget off hand but i think its number one you want for brushless forward only. the setting you have atm from memory is number three, its like double tap the brake for reverse.
