Looking at a SX1
Is it a good 4wd, Im looking as I would like to get a 4wd. I have been looking at the xx4 and anything else that can run stick packs.
I don't need the most advanced car as my driving side wonn't get me high places but nice to know that the car is capable of it. I have seen the sx1 am new to belt driven (as with the xx4) so what do you think? MS have a new sx1 for 190 as a kit, I don't think thats such a bad price. I presume the new born problems have been ironed out. |

If you do then this is a great kit at this price... I bought one a few weeks back (from Modelsport) and really like it. (You can see it in my blog at the link in my sig.) Beware though it could do with a few option parts, namely pivot blocks, which don't come cheap. |

Yes it is different.
The SX2 is an evolution of the SX. The S1 designation means it uses GRP composite where the higher spec kit uses carbon fibre. The S1 chassis appears to be favoured by team drivers anyway so no bad thing. A negative with the SX2 is that Schumacher, presumably to save costs, substituted many of the alloy parts for plastic ones, hence the need for option parts. |

Fantastic car at club and regional level. My SX 1 PB has alloy upgrades and a few other mods. I,ve not had any problems other than wear and tear and normal racing breakages like wishbones. If the SX 3 used stick LiPo,s, I,d buy 1 tomorrow but I,ll stick with the old 1.
