it lists them on the ifmar 2007 site and relates them to the losi tyres which were used at the warmup. not sure why they chose these over losi versions but maybe they are cheap and easy to get hold of in Japan?

so would the uk boys going have to wait untill they where there befor getting there tyres? not that the guys going pay for them

am i right in thinking you have to glue up your tyres in the tyre prep area when there and they are then marked?

they are provided by the host (at a cost) and glued up in a monitored compound.

you can only use tires you purchased from other sources for praccy and stuff - qually and finals tires need to be bought from the hosts stock of tires (same production batch)

http://ifmar.org/pdf/final_tires_2007.pdf

I believe they are american.
they make very popular 1/8 scale rallycross tires .. with bizarre names like gecko, komodo, chameleon. the komodo dragon is as popular as proline crime fighters.

They have been around for 3-4 years, just not imported to Europe. Very big in rallycross and monster truck racing and they used to be an OEM supplier. Their buggy tyres work very well on US style clay tracks.

It's the equivalent of the USA saying "who the hell are Ballistic Buggy?"

OMG it would be uber-sweet if you went there!
Just also get an HD camcorder and make vicky film some :-D
Then sell some Blu-ray wolds coverage :-D

Or make some more T-shirts! I´d buy one or two!
