I know. Fun ain't it, how people can judge a book by it's cover..?

Well. If anyone is interested. My shell has been finished by the wonderful Telsshells. Highly Recommened... Photos tomorrow....

This weekend I'll be going to Coventry to run it (weather permitting), then Batley / Tiverton on the 4th.
Worksop on the 18th.
and plenty of test days in between.

Hey, I'm not trying to slash the new car and I'm sure the plastic battery straps work fine. I'm just pointing out that it looks out of place on an completely CF car. It's more of a BLING thing

About design flaws and poor part quality of HPI : I'm still getting over my MT2 experience (a complete disaster in terms of track reliability, I'm very happy it's sold). I also have a Baja 5b and my opinion remains that it shows some serious design flaws like unacceptable wheel rub, easely torn tyres, desintegrating tyre inserts, bending shock shafts, ... but I'm happy to see that HPI is slowly addressing those issues.

Adam let me have a sneaky preview of one last night.
It looks a ver imperssive car indeed and doesn't look that 'cheap' in the flesh. I painted a shell for it but it wasn't the finished design so I aint sayin nowt! But the Proto look swish! some very nice ideas on the shell and the car too.

I'm not saying too much cos I don't want to let owt out but there are still other things being looked at for the productions version, I think.

looks nice, my only concern is the roof line looks BJ4WE(ish) and people will be more convinced it is a clone, otherwise, nice shell.

Hi

Is there a good amount of space under that body for Brushless and Lipos?
What size servo LxBXH?
Does the Rx need to be a Mini size?

Thanks Jeff
