Default Ballymena this Saturday(24th)

The NIMCC are holding another round of their championship this weekend(24th). Electric buggy drivers are welcome to attend. The track is situated just behind the Ecos centre in Ballymena and is an all astro-turf affair with a good mix of jumps thrown in. A few drivers made the trip last time and thought the track was fantastic for 10th scale buggys. It would be great if we could get a few more drivers attending this time. There is around 5 or 6 drivers making the long trip from down south for this meeting and I would hope that we can get at least the same amount from up here in the north to attend. The gates open around 9-9.30 am. If you can, please come and enjoy what will be a great days racing.

I have two junior goalkeepers to provide taxi services for on Saturday - one hockey & one football - but would like to get to Ballymena at some stage too.

As this will be my last chance to race for about a month, and I'll be headed that general direction anyway, I'll pencil my name in.

Can you bring the truck Colin? I will have young master James with me and he really enjoyed having a go round the track with it.

Hopefully it isn't. To be straight with everyone, if the weather forcast is dire, we probably won't waste the fuel travelling. But we'll make that decision early on Saturday morning (at the last minute) before leaving.

Presence of sun is assured (if it isn't we have bigger problems). It's whether a layer of cumulo-nimbus cloud gets in between....

Can do with the truck, David! Can put a alternative radio setup in it, or stick in a RX of your own.
