Default GT12 Charity Race Day Details

GT12 Charity Race Details

Doors open at 9am

Practice starts as soon as the track is set-up

The first race will start at 10am

We are aiming for 4 rounds of 6 heats and 6 finals.

There is a lot to squeeze in and we require plenty of help with the track, marshalling and packing away to achieve all that is planned.

We have to vacate the school by 4 pm so are aiming to get all racing completed by 3pm.

Once all packed away, we will hold the award ceremony and draw the raffle.

Our usual tuck shop has been fully stocked and will be open all day. Payment is made on a trust basis but will be monitored at all times.

We will also have a charity cake stall selling homemade cakes, donated to the club by racers and friends of the club, with all proceeds being donated to our nominated charity, The Survivors Trust

Raffle tickets will be on sale throughout the day with some fantastic prizes donated not only by the club, but by Race City, Zen and Schumacher

Racers will need to bring a pit table and chair with them, along with a suitable extension lead for charging. If a leisure battery is used to power chargers, it cannot be placed directly on the floor.

Anyone using a reel type extension lead needs to make sure it is fully unravelled before use to avoid overheating and tripping the electrical circuit in the school hall.

When arranging your pitting area, please ensure you aren’t blocking any passageways or fire escape doors / routes.

All proceeds from the day, including race fees, tuck shop, cake sales and donations will be donated to The Survivors Trust charity.

  • Race prices will be:-
    Senior Members £6
    Junior Members £4
    Senior non-members £7
    Junior non-members £5
