Alas, I have my spare room, a home made rack behind the door to keep the cars/trucks on, and a "desk" to work on, with drawers to keep stuff in, a halogen desk lamp (£4 from wilkinsons ) and a lot of floor space.

I built shed, fitted with kitchen worktops, lots of lights, heat, tv, radio, It's my space.....no kids....no wife. But I don't leave the cars or radio gear in there, leave them in the house so they are safe and insured when I'm not home

Where ever it gets put after a meeting lol!!

Most of it lives in the conservatory but I do all my work in the lounge .... well it's the only room with a plasma and cable ...

As for the other half she's a gem ... and the racing kit is the least of her worries!!!
She actually cleans my car if it's too muddy as a while back I absolutely wrecked the bathroom trying to get a Pred clean before it set to concrete, after that she figures it's better if she does it ...

I have my own little corner in amongst my daughters redundant toys in the garage. Tucked away behind the shower-room its a bit cramped but at least its attached to the house.

I threw all the clothes out of the walk-in wardrobe onto the floor where i prefer them and converted the wardrobe to a little rc cupboard.

The entire wardrobe/room is full at the moment with models and various stuff though.

God,,,
everyone keep going on about getting away from 'er indoors. I can't!!

I only have the living room table to do any car work on, due to the shed being full of shells and paint. But even then, I can't get away from her cos she come out to moan about how long I'm spending in there!?

Mind you, at the moment the whole house is full of bodyshells and she only moans a couple of times........per hour!

But yes the dining table is my pit....and sometime she even lets me leave things out until the next morning. when its not being worked on it just sits under the stairs in hauler bag and polybutler.

I have put up a 10'x8' Shed at the back of the garage.
No room left in garage. 3 Quad bikes and a moto-x bike are kept in there.
Got kicked out of the house by the wife. Don't get nagged at any more.
The shed has a few creature comforts in there. TV, HI-FI and a Gas Heater. Have insulated the inside panels to keep the heat in. A bit chilly out there at the moment.
Do you think that wiring the TV to the Sky box in the house is going a bit OTT.

What you bunch of wimps need is sorting out!! Ive gone the other way and built the wife a little shed with no tv, radio or heating so SHE can do her ironing washing and stuff what woman do in there and leave me in peace. I let her out once in a while to vacuum the house and make me tea tho.

ps best not let her see this she will probably kill me

Moved into a new house with an extra room seven months ago. I let my wife decide on the decor of the whole house but kept that 1 room for me to "decorate".
