The new one is far far far stronger, so don't go crazy - id recommend having 2, 1 for the car and 1 spare, but you are very unlikely to snap the new one.

Infact, please can everyone reading this take note. Id like to know who is the first person to manage to break one on the track, and pictures of the carnage (including what it hit, as thats likely to be broken too ).

Agreed! I'm still running my one from back in early May, that I slammed into a curb side full punched to see if it would break! I don't recommend doing that, but the new pieces are tough customers.

Do the stronger nose cones come with the new kits? or is it an aftermarket hop up

The new nose cones are now included with new kits, it is not a part upgrade, more a part supercede.

Regarding kits shipped over the last few weeks or so, there may have been a couple of kits slipped through the net and have old nose cones in, if this is the case then a simple email to Chazz and a new one will be sent out. Although asof from now, all is fine and this won't happen.

Cheers chris

Is it also worth getting the short camber link mod or is it possible to do it with the std kit and a bit of time?

Ran them @ Batley outdoors a week back but didn't run without to do back to back test so not to sure what the feel is with or without them.

New camber link mods are £12 from Lesro or you could make a pair. I paid as I couldn't spare the time to knock some up.

Is it just a piece of carbon with some extra holes?

I have never seen the mod, if anyone has a pic it would be appreciated

No problem Lee,
The camber link brackets are definately worthwhile. They make the car pivot faster and then square up much better on corner exit. Initially Ellis advised they are best on high grip, but I have found them to be a big improvement on low grip aswell as high grip - in my opinion, a must have!
