Default Cobra Racing KM and KM2

Here are the first pictures of the chassis's tested today on a very worn grass track, there was quite a difference of rear end grip and balance over the cars in low grip layout, very positive first tests and more to come next week, updates and reports will be on the Cobra Racing facebook page

I forgot to add that all you require is the chassis and the 74t belt,by adding 3mm nuts under the rear body mount bracket the shell clears so no need to change the shell, the top deck can be a tuning option and you can use your same lipo straps and posts

It seems to be compatible with KF, unlike the Shumacher kit

That's correct Gayo,we had a few people ask if would do something for the std kf so that's what we did, naturally then kf2 owners asked if there would be a chassis so we did that also, personally i think for the top drivers carbon fibre is still quicker but for us mortals an alloy chassis makes driving easier

I have the kf2 alloy chassis for the mid from Schumacher, do you supply a rear top deck for the kf version, and does the kf version just run mid position or low grip and kit?

The kf2 chassis is how it will be sold that's finished, the kf chassis is just for my testing and a few others who will have the chassis as i was only interested in testing the mid car,the final chassis will be mid and low grip option, there won't be a rear top deck supplied as there a 2 minute job to make if anyone feels they need one

Sorry but I don't get it... Can I buy a conversion kit for my KF or is it only for the KF2?

Looking forward to seeing the Kf chassis with low grip and mid grip options. Keep us posted. Definitely interested in a couple for me and a mates Kf.

Gave my Cobra KFM its first run out last night on carpet. Worked very well, loads of rear grip very much like my old b5m. Need to work on setup to dial in a bit more front grip for fast sweeping corners. Found I had to tweek the brake to stop it running wide (i did run worn tyres on purpose). Think maybe a front weight would cure this..or just new tyres! Did turn in great on slower corners, jumped and landed very well. It felt very quick and much more stable than standard high grip set up. I've never ran low grip so cannot compare.

In all I'm very impressed, workmanship is first class. Single best upgrade for the KF i'm my opinion. Thanks again!

Thanks mate for the feedback and glad your happy with the chassis so far,i have seen a few people add between 20 to 30g under the servo so that could be worth a try.

I have just updated our facebook page with the latest and final KF chassis for both low grip and mid motor option,we also have a mid only chassis as there has been alot of interest in that, here are a couple of pictures of the KML chassis for the KF,feel free to see our facebook page for more pictures and updates
