I have heard there not very accurate but really powerful so great for things like trucks and crawlers but not recommended for racing, just what i have heard though

iv used them in most of my nitros and im gunna try one in the b4 so ill let you know
theyre reasonably quik and got stupid torque for the money anyway
one thing that does happen on the nitro is that the vibration can make the servo wire come off but its only a 5 min job once the servo is out to fix
incase anyone htinks theres is knackered its probably just the wires come off

I use Towerpro MG995s in my crawler because of the huge torque and metal gear train. The big advantage is they cost me £12 for two of them. The disadvantage is the positioning isn't too accurate, so they don't necessarily centre in the exact same place each time, but obviously this isn't a problem with crawlers.

A specific problem we have in crawlers is when you run them on 7.2v for the extra power if there's no load on the servo when it centres it overshoots, then goes back to correct itself. With the wheels off the ground it can sit there oscillating back and forwards for 2-3 seconds, but under load when moving on the ground it isn't a problem.

I was helping a friend of mine at the junior nationals last year and he seemed to be getting massive interference, we swapped everything out, Raido gear, motor, speedo, nothing cured it I then had a quick flick with the steering, I turned left and the servo went left and then centered when released, I steered right and released and then it stayed there for two seconds and then finally centered itself. That was a tower pro servo and after we changed it he was able to do a lap without heading off the track every two seconds.

I would definatley steer clear.
