Well at least the computer has come up with a less annoying beep in the last 16 years

Thats great to see, looking at how the club used to be. Also, is it just me or do they seem alot quicker than they are now?

Well the cars have changed a bit but not radically ! So I am not sure I mean the CAT 2000 was a good 4WD and I think it would still be competitive now !
The Cougar 2 was terrible on a bumpy track ! but on a smooth track it was a good car as you can see the difference in the vid's
Its a shame that outdoor tack could not be resurrected ! If you look on youtube its just over grown now ! bet the astro turf is still there under all the grass lol
The concrete slap that we used to race on is still visible ! It was mint racing on concrete (foam tires)

Depends if Peter is in naughty mode again and puts me in the bottom heat. No disrespect to the botom heat though.

Chris Green was in our heat and he managed 2 extra laps in the Final. How do you work that out!

Chris you were in the middle heat and everybody got 2 extra laps in the final. I got about 6 in the first race with the dodgy loop, then 14 then 15 and in the final i got 17. James tq'd with a fast 15 and got 18 laps in the final....

You should get at least one extra lap in the final as it counts the first short lap from the start. As for heats the ability on the computer is worked out through qualifying(sp) if you have a bad week it reduces it.

Im Famous

And the Thornaby Track was actually the other side to where Teesdale Buggy Club set up. We did salvage a bit of the Astro from the old track, but your right there has always been issues with the locals destroys things, and setting fire to buildings etc.

Those where the good old days, I think Im showing my age
